For anyone wanting a more creative, relational approach to therapy.

If you're creative, neurodivergent, part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, or simply trying to make sense of yourself and your relationships, life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may find yourself stuck in familiar patterns, carrying the effects of trauma, or feeling disconnected from yourself and your creativity.

Perhaps you are experiencing:

  • Trying to understand yourself, your relationships, or your identity while feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to change.

  • Navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, or the impacts of discrimination and marginalization.

  • Feeling disconnected from creativity, your voice, or the parts of yourself that help you feel the most like you.

You don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Welcome! I'm Emily (she/her). I offer virtual psychotherapy across Ontario, combining relational talk therapy and expressive arts to help youth and adults navigate life's challenges.

A creative and collaborative approach to therapy.

Relational Talk Therapy

We explore how you relate to yourself and others, identify patterns, build on your strengths, and find new ways of moving forward.

Expressive Arts Therapy

You don't have to be a trained artist—stick figures are welcome! Together, we'll use visual art, writing, music, movement, or other creative approaches to explore experiences that can be difficult to put into words.

An affirming foundation

My practice is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, anti-racists, and 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming. I also provide sex-positive, kink-aware, poly-aware, body-positive, and sex-work affirming care.

Hi, I'm Emily (she/her). I'm a Registered Psychotherapist, expressive arts therapist, multi-modal artist, and musician living and working in Peterborough/Nogojiwanong.

I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine, collaborative, and non-judgmental. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, explore what's bringing you to therapy, better understand yourself, and discover new ways of moving forward.

Some sessions are mostly conversation. Others include writing, music, movement, or visual art. Together, we'll decide what feels most helpful.
